Beata is the author of two books on massage translated in several languages and published worldwide by Duncan Baird. She is a former columnist for The Sunday Telegraph, Stella Magazine and main co-author of the Massage Guide created by The Guardian Magazine. Author of articles for publications like World Spa & Wellness she regularly comments as an expert for several global publications. Beata has become a true ambassador of the importance of physical integration in society hardly connected through touch.
Beata serves as a member on the Mental Wellness Initiative for The Global Wellness Institute and is a judge for the World Spa & Wellness Awards. She speaks about massage, spa, the power or touch and ageing at events around the world including in France, Poland, Italy and the UK. Most recently she spoke on a panel hosted by the Times Magazine about ‘How to Age Well’.
In 2002 Beata founded Pure Massage, the first company in London dedicated solely to massage with training techniques based on Twelve Principles of Massage™ created and developed by Beata.Her company became synonymous of the highest quality in massage with a team of highly skilled therapists, developing the style of massage recognised by the press and acknowledged by clients as best available on the market.
Pure Massage Spa Training Method® is a result of Beata’s ongoing passion and dedication to change the perception of massage. Her ground-breaking approach in training techniques provide therapists not only with highly effective and injury free massage, communication skills and self-care routines but also – essential in their profession – life coaching. Beata established several charity projects such as ‘Touch a Heart’ that offered massage to the elderly, or ‘Young mothers’, which offered support to teenage mothers. She has successfully completed a five-year charity project, supporting a unique Kalahari Bushmen group, helping them transition from nomadic life.
She travelled extensively in Africa and was initiated and recognised by healers in Botswana and Namibia. It resulted in creating Touch of Trust, a documentary that explores our ability to communicate through touch beyond cultural barriers and differences.
She is currently working on her third book.
