Leading lash brand Nouveau Lashes introduces ‘Visionaries’ a team of highly skilled Nouveau Lashes artists recruited to represent the brand at The Lash Games 2019, Olympia Beauty.
The chosen five were selected by the brands expert panel for their commitment to ‘lashing’, ability to transform their clients lashes and for understanding the importance of aftercare and helping their clients master the right routine for their lifestyle.
Debbie Law, Nouveau Lashes Trainer and Visionaries Expert Panel Member said, “selecting only five lash artists from the high-quality entrants we received was extremely difficult and we were blown away by how many of our trained lash artists applied to take part”.
As well as representing the brand at The Lash Games, which welcomes technicians from across the world to the competition floor. Visionaries will work closely with the brand to increase awareness of correct lashing techniques, hints and tips for fellow artists and how to correctly care for your client’s lashes.
Katie Williams describes herself as “a bit obsessed with lashes and anything lash related’. Trained in Nouveau Lashes for 9 years, Katie has previously worked as a trainer for Nouveau before going on to run her own successful business. This is the first time Katie will have competed and while she recognises she will be up against some fierce competition she is prepared to give it her all.
From a career as a head travelling girl in horse racing and a self-confessed lash addict, Bethan Pritchard decided to give lashing a go herself and since training in 2017 has never looked back. When asked how she feels about being selected as a Visionary she said, “I’m still in shock, being quite new to the industry I am well aware of the standard of talent in the industry and especially with Nouveau Lashes artists”.
Actress and born lash artist Laura Windle (you may recognise her from ITV’s Cold Feet) makes creating lash fans look so easy! A big fan of using coloured lashes to create signature styles for her clients, Laura’s lash results are as memorable as her big personality. Passionate about improving standards in the industry to minimise lash damage caused by poorly applied lash extensions Laura claims “being selected as a Visionary is the highlight of my year”.
Olivia Mae Pritchard (no relation to Bethan) was a visual merchandiser for Marks and Spencer before entering the beauty world. With natural creative flare her attention to detail is faultless and she now classes being a lash artist and her own boss as “a job I adore that combines my passion for beauty and creativity perfectly”. Overwhelmed her lash work has been recognised she can not wait to represent the brand she describes as the “best in the business”
And last but by no means least is Natalie Barton-Phillips who with only 1 years’ experience has already won her first lash competition in 2018. A full-time mum Natalie began using her love for makeup and creative skills to become a freelance makeup artist and was consistently asked by clients about lash extensions. After much research and seeing the confidence lash extensions were giving to women, she contacted Nouveau Lashes and now she lashes every single day. Natalie told us “I cannot wait to represent Nouveau Lashes at The Lash Games and I look forward to learning from and receiving feedback from some of the industry’s most renowned judges”
